LEARN TO PAINT FURNITURE AT ONE OF OUR WORKSHOPS!

In the FURNITURE PAINTING 101 workshop, you’ll use chalk-style paint and learn how to prepare, paint, distress, wax, and “antique” your furniture. In class, you will paint an adorable wooden tray. You’ll go home with a 2-page informational handout and the skills and confidence to tackle your projects at home! All supplies are included for only $45!

In the Advanced Paint Techniques workshop you will use Real Milk Paint to created a “weathered wood” wall hanging. Throughout the class you will learn techniques such as dry-brushing, paint layering, color washing, and how to make your paint chip and crackle. You can add hooks or your favorite saying to the finished product and have a wall-hanging that you will be proud to display. No prior paint experience is necessary! The cost is $46 and all supplies are included.

To register, call Teresa at 804-855-9371.   Or you can sign up at The Lazy Daisy at 13110 Midlothian Tnpk in Midlothian or The Lazy Daisy Short Pump at 12020 Broad Street, in Short Pump.  Prepayment is required to reserve your spot.  Workshop fees are non-refundable; however, if you are unable to make it to your class, we are happy to reschedule for a time that is more convenient.

Semi-private “paint your own piece” classes are also available.  Please call for availability and more details.  

Consider hosting your own painting party!  Pick a date that works for you, and gather 4 of your girlfriends here at our studio in Short Pump for a girls night out and your registration will be waived.
